Pharmarun Q1 2025 Digest: A Season of Growth, Impact, and Innovation

A Quarter Full of Wins!

The first quarter of 2025 has been nothing short of remarkable for us at Pharmarun. From launching new initiatives to attending industry-leading events and strengthening partnerships, we’ve been working tirelessly to ensure healthcare remains accessible, efficient, and innovative.

This digest takes you through our biggest wins this quarter—our achievements, the communities we’ve impacted, and the exciting new directions we’re taking in healthcare. Let’s dive in!

Growth, Orders & Going Green

Our mission has always been to make healthcare more accessible, and this quarter, we’re proud to share that we successfully fulfilled over 10k orders and facilitated more than 1,000 consultations. That means thousands of people got the medications and professional medical guidance they needed—quickly and conveniently.

But beyond the numbers, we’re celebrating something even bigger— Our mobile app!

The Pharmarun app is now fully functional and designed to make healthcare easier for everyone. With just a few taps, you can:

✅ Order medications and get them delivered anywhere
✅ Book teleconsultations with licensed doctors and pharmacists
✅ Set medication reminders for better adherence
✅ Use Tina AI, our AI-powered health assistant, for instant medical guidance

If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, this is the perfect time to do so!

Another major milestone? We made a bold move towards sustainability. We said goodbye to plastic packaging materials and embraced eco-friendly packaging materials. This shift aligns with our mission of promoting healthier living—not just for individuals but for the planet too.

Pharmarun on the Move: Events & Industry Impact

The past three months have been packed with insightful industry events, and Pharmarun has been right at the center of it all, making meaningful connections and driving conversations that matter in healthcare.

The Pharmarun Team

We started with Tech Fest, where we took to the streets to ask a pressing question: Would you rather have your medications delivered or buy them from a local store?

The responses were fascinating, and we compiled them into a fun and insightful video. Want to know which option won? Click here to watch!

From there, we took our insights to the global stage at the Africa Health Agenda International Conference in Kigali. This was an incredible opportunity to engage with healthcare innovators and policymakers, sharing our experience in transforming medication access across Africa.

Back home, we actively participated in the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria 2025 Annual Conference, where we discussed the future of Nigeria’s healthcare system and how digital health solutions like Pharmarun are bridging gaps in medication access.

Our team also attended the WIMBIZ Roundtable, where we had extensive discussions on emotional wellness and reproductive health, topics that align closely with our commitment to holistic well-being.

Another significant moment for us was joining General Hospital Odan for a World Kidney Day activation. We helped drive awareness about kidney health and the importance of regular screenings—a crucial part of preventing chronic kidney disease.

One of our proudest moments this quarter was hosting our Celebrating Care & Collaboration event. This was a special gathering where we brought together our pharmacy partners, hospitals, and key stakeholders to appreciate their contributions in making healthcare more accessible. The event was covered by The Guardian, and if you missed it, you can read all about it here.

Sports and wellness are also a big part of our mission, which is why we supported cyclists at the Cycology Amazon Crit Cyclist Race. Ensuring the health and safety of these athletes while connecting with the fitness community was an incredible experience.

Our commitment to women’s health led us to sponsor and attend International Women’s Day events by Dobic Health and Herconomy. These events reinforced the importance of women’s healthcare, and we were proud to be part of the conversation.

Finally, we attended Pharma West Africa, where we connected with fellow pharmaceutical industry leaders, explored potential collaborations, and discussed the future of medication accessibility in Nigeria.

Empowering Women: A Different Perspective

March is Women’s Month, and while many conversations focused on celebrating career-driven women, we chose to take a different and necessary approach—highlighting the importance of full-time mothers.

In many Women’s Day celebrations, we see CEOs, entrepreneurs, and professionals being celebrated (rightfully so!), but stay-at-home moms are often overlooked. Yet, being a mother is one of the most demanding and important jobs in the world.

To honor all mothers, we partnered with Mum Confessions, a platform founded by perinatal mental health therapist Tinuke Atilade. Through this partnership, we offered a 15% discount on medications for mothers in the community, ensuring they have easier access to healthcare.

We also spotlighted Omolabake Matthew, the founder of Nutrition4KidsNG, WorkingMum Diary, and MumsNTech. Her work in improving childcare nutrition and helping mothers advance their careers in tech is truly inspiring, and we were thrilled to share her story with our community.

To honor stay at home moms, we also spotlighted Mary Uju Umughele, a stay at home mom and wig laundress, Tomilola Olatunde (thecuddleblog), a stay at home mom who homeschools her kids and other kids, and Atinuke Sikiru, a stay at home in Germany.

To cap it off, we had a special sit-down with our CEO, Teniola Adedeji, where she shared her personal experience of balancing motherhood with leading a fast-growing health tech company. Her insights were deeply relatable, and if you haven’t watched the interview yet, click here—it’s a must-watch!

Looking Ahead

This quarter has been filled with growth, impact, and bold new steps toward a healthier future. But this is just the beginning. As we step into Q2, our focus remains clear:

  • Expanding our reach to make medications even more accessible
  • Strengthening our partnerships to bring better healthcare solutions
  • Innovating within the industry to improve customer experiences

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve ordered from us, engaged with our content, or attended one of our events, you are the reason we do what we do. Here’s to an even bigger and better next quarter!
